Hey Kiddos–

I know that you are hearing words of caution left and right from adults now that you have and are getting your licenses, but I need to add my own words, too.  My mom–yes, teachers have moms, too–just forwarded me an email.  It has information and a link to a short news video entitled “Are Your Tires Safe?”  Basically, ABC went undercover and found numerous tire dealers selling tires that they claimed were new but were actually old.  Tires that are older than six (6) years old are a major hazard and can literally disintegrate, not just “blow out.”  If you want to watch the video and learn how to recognize whether these tires are the real deal or not on your own, follow this link: http://abcnews.go.com/Video/playerIndex?id=4826897
